The year of the phoenix: we've released 2 new video (Ignite the revolt & Epileptic) enjoy, rate & share!!! We've also joined the K2 Music Management roster, with band like Adimiron, Thin Wire Unlaced, Sinheresy, Terrorway... Our frontman Cafa, was hosted in "Morph", first album of Dismal Faith, and both bands are assiduously engaged on the "steel & marble alliance tour 013" in every corner of Italy, with a lot of bands. fans, pay attention & spread the voice!

This year the main goal was to renovate our show and look for as many shows as possible. We've played with band like Secrete Sphere, Bologna Violenta, Odessa (UK). touring central regions of Italy we've known & met some old& some other new friends such RunOver, Dorothy, Them?Philosophy, the master Gabriele Bellini, Rexor, Humangled, Hyaena Rabid, Noiseful Silence, Violentor, Sofisticator, Sulfur and Dismal Faith (with whom, we will make surely many other stuff in future).

July, Kochis has joined the band on bass and now we're working on new stuff with Cafa at the voice (Vitto follow his life on strangers lands). We were live @ ExenziaRockClub (Prato) on December 30 with OneLegMan and Strangers In Death, and we've presented the new song called EPILEPTIC, the first one recorded with the new line-up.

On 19.02.2010 we presented the new album IGNITE THE REVOLT with a live set @ Jump in Montelupo Fiorentino (FI).

We completed the recording session of the new album in Ravenna at Studio73 with Mr. Paso Pasini. Our new creation is going to be published very soon thanks to the help of Chris and Serpentine Records, Fede and Controtempo prodution, Masterpiece Distribution.

Mich has joined the band, with the new drummer we are seriously working on few brand new songs, even stronger (if possible) then before, on stage in Switzerland and Austria during July. October is going to be busy with the recording sessions, we will work with Christian Bamert and Serpentine Promotion for the release. ((hey.. since 10 years Vitto is in the band!!))

gretat reviews almost everywhere: a pleasure to read so many beautiful words about our sound.. thanx to Petrut Alin and all the other guys that supported us we have been playing 5 shows in Romania. (due to a pity we had to cancel some show in Switzerland, Austria and Italy) after recording 2 new songs: "J. Jameson Snowballin'" and "Kevin Bacon Meets the Aliens" we stopped playing with K.

Kiju have been drinking around in Slovakia, Hungary, Switzerland and of course in Italy. the new drummer ANdrea K Capecchi has been following us for over 30 shows.

During last winter KIJU were in Vienna, Budapest, Bolzano, Roma, Salerno, Bellinzona, Freiburg, Firenze… During spring the band have been playing with STUCK MOJO and on some festivals in Autria and Hungary. The new album will be officially released in november, the band has chose to cooperate with www. hardebaran.com and www.twofatmen.com

The band has been working hard on the new album: DEMO(N)CRACY. The songs are much more hardcore, much more “straight in face”, the groove is bigger, voices are even more powerful, the wall of sound of KIJU now is unbreakable! The lirycs, this time are explicitly against any form of dictatorship, the album in a true istigation to revolt! Everything has been recorded and mixed at the Fear Recording Studio, in 5 weeks. The band featured on www.epg.sk festival, on the main stage, with bands like Destruction, Labirinth, Freedom Call.

And good reviews also went out from every country in Europe, Canada and the United States. The band started a long way playing shows, having fun on the stage of SLOVAKIA, HUNGARY, SWITZERLAND, AUSTRIA, BELGIO, HOLLAND, GERMANY. The promotion in the USA and CANADA started with radios, magazine and webzines… the album was also on the U.S. online catalogs. Songs from “Nothing to play for” featured on compilations coming from the METALAGE, the GRIMOIRE, and more, advertisements where on the issues of magazine as ROCKHARD, HAMMER, METALHAMMER, and on the biggest catalogues of europe…

In the late summer of the 2002 the METALAGE PRODUCTIONS get in touch with the band… In november 2002 the guys from Metalage start with publishing of the first copies in italy, than they signed the distribution agreement with TWILIGHT-VERTRIEB (germany), ADIPOCERE (france)... and so on In italy the press had a good reaction, the album was one of the ‘highlights’ on PSYCHO!, METALSHOCK, BABYLONMAGAZINE.NET, METALLOITALIANO.IT, TRUEMETAL.IT, NOISYHOURS. IT, RUMORE, NEROOPACO.IT,

The recording sessions took the first part of 2001 and than continued during the following summer. The album, NOTHING TO PLAY FOR, was a mix of the Sepultura – MachineHead musical violence and the Fear Factory’s wall of “tecnological” sound… you can find in it some songs really “straight in your face” and some other, much more “meditated”. The lirics touch different themes… between the consciousness of the pressure, the stresses, the violence coming from the impositions of society that sorround our lives, and the internal feelings of a human being… The recording sessions took 4 weeks, 4 weeks of sweat and wonderful creative stress. Than, the KIJU worked hard to find a good deal with a label… This was the worst period of the band’s existence, we had some offers from germany and italy... (and we would like to forget about all the assholes we met on our way)

Kiju started in the late 90’s, with a sound influenced by bands like Faith No More, and Soundgarden, touring seriously for the first time in the summer '97 the north-center of italy… They found Vitto as the new singer… after changing the face of their sound with low tuned guitars, and more aggressive ideas... In the '99 come out the first demo: HOOK MY NEURONS, self produced and self distributed (the songs were good, but the quality of the production was definitively too much underground)…
