Devon’s father, a touring keyboard player, performed for many years under the Warner Brothers-Reprise label. Devon’s Uncle, was a trumpeter and arranger for Woody Herman, Wayne Cochran and Blood, Sweat and Tears. With her ability to draw from her life experiences and her musical roots, Devon Parker delivers an inimitably honest voice. In early 2014 Analog Son, a Denver based Funk band invited her to join as lead singer. Originally a studio project put together by Jordan Linit and Joshua Fairman, the concept of the band was to record with as many musicians visiting in town as possible. Artists like Ivan Neville (Dumpstaphunk), and Raphael Pierra (Janelle Monae), recorded parts to the latest self titled album released in the Summer of 2014. Analog Son has since shared the stage with Trombone Shorty, The Funky Meters, Maceo Parker, and many others. Analog Son will be releasing their second album in the Spring of 2015.
Devon Parker also sings regularly with the group SuperCollider, a Jazz/Rock fusion band which can be found performing at the best jazz clubs in Colorado.
