Shawn Parker better known as Pevie is a 22 year old solo male hip-hop artist from Chicago, IL. Born in Buffalo, New York, Pevie was forced to move to Illinois with his mother and two sisters because of his father’s abuse to his mother. Raised by a single mother, Pevie was brought up to stay away from the crimes that plagued so many other young black males that were raised in similar circumstances. At age eight is when Pevie first started to get into hip-hop. Being raised on everything between Nas and Prince. Pevie’s influences, like many great artists, are diverse as the music as he creates. At age fifteen is when Pevie started to hone his craft and really start taking things seriously with producer Pyro(1/2 of the Innovatorz). In the past seven years Pevie has gained a good buzz in the Chicago area, but is looking to expand and share his music worldwide! Pevie is looking to change the game over with a fresh sound that will please audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
