Thirteen22 / Bio

Coming from an island that is filled with nothing but jam bands and cover artist. Thirteen22 sticks out like a sore thumb. The band was originally started by the lead vocalist Earl in his spare bedroom, which turned into a jam room. Having playing a little bit of music with one of his co-workers he needed a drummer, so another co-worker came in to jam a little bit. He found out that Dominique rules on the skins and asked if he wanted to come play some music. At this point there were two guitarist, a drummer and one song. Earl knowing that Evan and Dominique are practically joined at the hip asked him if Evan would want to play bass, Dom knowing that he could asked Evan if he would be interested in it. Of course Evan answering he's never played bass in a band said sure, they had one practice from there and history was wrote. Only having a few songs to play the writing started and the energy began to grow, playing their first show on April 1st at the "moon river mustache contest" they realized they had some work to do. At this point the band was still a 4 piece, the next show was in June at a local Fernandina club and everyone came out, and had a rad time. Shortly after the rhythm guitarist had to back out of the band because of personal issues, this leaving it just a 3 piece. Since then the band has done nothing but get rad, write more songs and continue to grow musically as well as becoming a tightly knitted brotherhood. Playing rad music having a great time and enjoying themselves is what it's all about. If you dont like the music then who cares, but you're missing out on some killer hits.
