Blue Soul Redemption / Bio

On April 29, 2012 at the Pour House after the Parmalee show in Farmville, NC, Lonnie was introduced to Dusty by a good friend Mr. Spencer Albritton and that's where it all began. After a few days the bond was formed. In a small town called Bell Arthur, right outside of Greenville, NC Lonnie and Dusty meet up for a jam session where they decided that it was time to pursue the dream. A few weeks later Jason was introduced to the boys by another good friend Mr. George Strickland and the trio was born. They practiced for a couple weeks when they decided that it was time to invite some friends to take a listen and to get some feedback. The band was still missing the finishing touch, a bass player. A back yard jam was thrown and that’s were Jason brought along T.C. who filled the void and completed the band. This was supposed to be a small get together of friends, but after about 100 people showed up, an all-night, genuine southern style party exploded in full swing and everyone rocked with the band all night!! T.C. was asked to join the family and finally Blue Soul Redemption was ready to take flight. As months went by the band had started booking shows and playing around their local area. After some unforeseen circumstances, Guitar Player Jason had to leave the band. This was a hard blow for the brand new band to lose a member is such a short period of time. Lonnie, TC and Dusty stuck together and were bound and determined to find someone else to fill the void in the band. After the longest month or so of their lives, Mr. Travis Shuey came along. A Goldsboro, NC native with a background in blues guitar fell right in with the band. After a few practices as one again, the band began playing shows. Just when we all thought BSR was complete, the final and newest member of BSR family was introduced, Mr. Greg Franklin, originally from the Outer Banks of NC's beautiful coast came a hot southern rock guitar player. Greg is known for his Lynard Skynard sound and some of the most amazing rifts added the final touch to what the forming brotherhood was looking for. The band grew tighter and began righting more original music. The unique, one of a kind Voice of Lonnie, the drive and back bone of Dusty and TC, driving the band along, combined with the Allman Brothers/Blues Guitar by Travis and Greg's Skynard feel gave BSR the new face and sound of Southern Rock and Country music today. The guys have made great progress doing what takes some bands years to accomplish. BSR would become an award winning band in their local area by the end of 2012 and move to #1 on the Reverbnation.com country Charts in their area along with ending the year at #162 on the Global Reverbnation.com Country Charts. They are set to record their first Debut EP Album set to be released in early March 2013 title "Soul's Kitchen" and it is sure to be the hot new thing!! Stay tuned in and keep up with these guys!! There moving at warp speed and soon to be in a City near you!! Along with our own original music we also play a variety of top country hits and southern rock! We love what we do and most of all we love to have a good time with our fans and enjoy making music. A good song can make anybody feel better no matter the situation and that is what we strive for everyday! We hope you enjoy our music and we appreciate all the fans and our loved ones support.
