.The sound of all hell breaking loose never had such a kick ass hook... til now! Sayonara DaVinci brings back the feel of real full-throttle, no bullshit rock and roll that you were bangin' your head to in the 80's, (without the cheesy spandex shit.)
S.D.V. was formed in Elm Creek, Nebraska in late 2011 with brothers Nick and Aaron Grimes, along with drummer Dave Ferris, all from the recently disbanded Lost Outlaw Band. Named as an inside joke from a bar patron during the Lost Outlaw days who, at the end of the night, would drunkenly yell to the crowd, "sayonara davinci" as he'd leave for the night. After a few minor setbacks, and a nearly three-year hiatus from the road, S.D.V. came back onto the scene swinging in March 2012 with former Archive's drummer Jerry Franks. Franks, however, was relieved of his duties in May 2012 after several incidents between band-mates, most of which were alcohol-related. In October 2012, former Preferred Method drummer Mike Nelson was added to the mix, perfecting the S.D.V. sound. Now with tunes being played state-wide, (soon to be nation-wide), S.D.V. is, without a doubt, one hell of a rock and roll show worth seeing.
