The Signifiers / Bio

The Signifiers are a slightly experimental, somewhat jazzy, minimally funky, mostly groovy group of sonic landscape explorers. Traveling on their imaginary spacecraft captained by Nate Beier (drums), his galactic companion Colin Randau (keyboard(s)), and newly added sidekick Julie Rachael (bass), this dynamic trio performs both complex compositions and exploratory improvisatons, often blending the two. With a dedicated fanbase of at least three (and growing), The Signifiers are often found at Luna's Cafe in Sacramento attempting to find that elusive moment of musical ecstasy when the stars align and the rings of Saturn twinkle.
