Corrected Visionaries / Bio

Corrected Visionaries is a group of Atlanta based singers and musicians who were brought together because of their individual talents to create the music found on their initial release, entitled “Optical Delusions”.
Corrected Visionaries is:
Savannah Taylor (Vocals, Keyboards, Bass) - Savannah, who is also the producer on the record, is originally from Fairview, Pennsylvania, but has been in the Atlanta area since, after extended stop overs to perform as a solo entertainer in London, England, Colorado, and Miami.
Ian Bruh (Vocals) - Ian is originally from Brooklyn, New York. He has lived in the Atlanta area since 1993, and is also the lead singer for the popular party band, The American Flyers. Ian sings lead on half of the tracks, and harmony on others. He is a formally trained vocalist who attended the New York High School of Performing Arts (the Fame school), and then got a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from C.W. Post University, Long Island.
David Irwin (Guitars) - David, who was born in Atlanta, has been in a number of bands, playing multiple instruments. He performed with local favorites Banks and Shane from 1985 until 1999. He also performs as a solo entertainer.
Mike Vermillion (Drums) – Mike is originally from Arlington, Virginia, but moved to Atlanta in 1989. He’s a self-taught drummer who has played in a number of bands in Washington, D.C. and Northern Viginia as well as in Metro Atlanta. Mike’s also done studio session work, and is currently a staff drummer at Edgewater Records Studio.
Karen (McKinley) Talgo (Background Vocals) – Karen was born in San Antonio, Texas, but has lived in metro-Atlanta almost her entire life. She co-wrote the music on all tracks, and provides backing vocals on a number of the tracks on the record.

The individual songs for the record were written over time, all in the Atlanta area, but the recordings themselves were all done in 2011 and 2012 in local studios. The final mix and mastering was done at Edegewater Records Studio in Cobb County, Georgia.
