Twenty-year-old Trish Torrales is an up-and-coming musician who has been playing shows across Long Island since 2010. An avid fan of music, Trish has taken her passion and used it to turn her dreams into reality, coming in second place in the 2011 MSG Varsity Talent Show and winning “Best Rising Star” at the 2012 Got Talent? Long Island Show. Trish has gained popularity through incorporating a bluesy, southern feel into her classic rock sound.
Trish has performed alongside artists including Deleasa and Nick Tangorra, at venues such as The Bitter End in Greenwich Village. She has been able to set herself apart from other musicians by providing both lead vocals and guitar for her tracks, as well as writing many of her own lyrics. Trish’s song “Measure of Love” came in first place in the song-writing category for Rockville Center’s Respect Life Contest, and has provided guest vocals on tracks for other local bands.
Trish sites some of her musical influences as Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Z Z Ward, Alanis Morissette, Led Zeppelin, and Third Eye Blind. She is always looking for inspirations for her own musical style, and is frequently supporting other local musicians and attending live shows. In her spare time, Trish enjoys going to the beach, running, and daydreaming about winning a Grammy.
