An aspiring singer/songwriter Blake Halladay brings a new flavour to folk/rock storytelling. With an original mix of real life and death experience and off the wall humour. A passionate solo performer, Blake also has dozens of classic and new cover tunes to share.
In May 2012, Blake released a self titled debut EP. Recorded, produced and mastered at Blue Room Studio with renowned canadian drummer Steve Negus. The EP contains 5 varied songs ranging from reggae to country and rock. It is hoped that this record will garner some industry attention and move Blake along in fulfilling his dream of songwriting.
Hailing from the Niagara Region Blake is currently performing in and around the Ontario area with a strong following in the Ottawa Valley. Recently heard live on 92.7 CFFF fm; 93.7 CKOL fm ; 100.9 Canoe fm ; 102.9 CHCR fm ; 101.7 CHIP fm and 98.7 Valley Heritage Radio . A camp fire specialist at heart, Blake has also been known to perform and support Charitable Events, as well as Funerals and a Friends in Grief Counseling group. He is an advocate for Mental Health issues seeking to promote awareness and support with his original music.
