Corpse Pose is a multimedia project of Eric Ryszkiewicz, started in 2009 under the name Daydream Lullaby. Recordings typically feature instrumental loops as the starting point for explorations in sound design. One reviewer’s comments on sparser material were that “Sounds spring up, then disappear, then reappear in mutated form, until a story starts to emerge”, while dense passages have been likened to “the sound of a thousand violins”. Corpse Pose has played at clubs as an opener for nationally touring artists, provided background music for events, and done all of the normal kicking around at art galleries, underground venues, and warehouse parties.
