The Scary Mondelos / Bio

Since 2005 The Scary Mondelos have stuck to their guns, taking cues from such acts as Social Distortion, The Ramones, and even Johnny Cash. It has been a steady dose of gritty hard to swallow truths and guitar driven rock and roll songs from day one.
The band was formed after the collapse of a punk band from Dallas called SkateAroundChippy, where half the members moved on to create The Beat Dolls and the other half started the Mondelos.
After a couple of years of heavy gigging in the great state of Texas, the band settled down to record their debut album. Dive Bar Deluxe was available in 2008, but not officially until later on the band’s independent Little Plastic Records label.
