Diluvio started in 2011 by siblings Danny, Alejandra, and Kevin Perez in Tucson, Arizona. They started playing in their church choir and soon started writing their own songs. With the help of a few other members (that are no longer in the band) Diluvio was formed. Kevin Perez, who was playing bass, left for the military and Alan Villaescusa filled in. After various lineup changes, the band then evolved with the addition of Lucia Dabdoub and Eduardo Ramirez. Some of their original songs include “Mi Vida en Sol” and “Libro de Canciones” which can be found in media sites such as Facebook.
The band is currently working on their debut album, which will be titled “Libro de Canciones” and will soon be available. Diluvio plays shows regularly in Tucson and in Phoenix, Arizona and they receive a lot of support from their community. They got their first lucky break in October 2013. As the most recent winners of Terra.com's Persigue tu Sueño (Follow your Dreams) voting contest, they were flown to Miami for an exclusive recording and interview session that was broadcasted through Terra.com's website on Oct. 30, 2013. The band hopes this opportunity will lead to future success and expansion of the Spanish rock scene in the United States.
