Just like his vast collection of hats (collected over a few years), Soloman Smith has appeared in various line-ups, playing differing styles of music and now comfortably ‘weathered’ into the seasoned and ‘well fitting’ writer and performer he is today. He has been described as having ‘the caustic delivery of Elvis Costello and the sardonic wit of Ray Davies’. Melodic and memorable, uplifting, thought provoking and ‘typically English’.He has played numerous festivals, Venues, Clubs and bars up and down the country. He has released a number of recordings through Confidential Records UK Ltd and appeared on numerous BBC/local radio stations. After a short time away in 2012 he 'picked up his plank' and started gigging again, solo and with full band. 2013 sees him return to playing solo.Check out the ‘Man in the hat’ – you can’t miss him!
