Holly Taylor's artistic roots culminate a smooth blend of folk, alternative, and acoustic sounds. Her love of music began in childhood with a small keyboard, a glittery red snare drum, and a knack 4 creative writing. Holly Taylor's professional training includes a degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music, Board Certification in music therapy, teaching music education and private lessons, song writing, improvisation, piano, percussion, and guitar composition and performance. Her music has touched hundreds of listeners in the performance realm as well as within the music therapy setting. .. Ms. Taylor currently performs and produces events as an affiliate of ArtiZen Productions. Ms. Taylor has recently joined the jazz-funk jam band Sri Yantra, on keyboard. She collaborates with the Kansas City Song Writers Circle, What Wood Woody Do/Cross Currents, Earth Peace Systems, the Kansas City Greens and EcoRadio KC, KKFI 90.1. Each of these organizations strive to give a musical voice to progressive change in society--locally and globally. Ms. Taylor has made several appearances on KKFI, 90.1 Kansas City Community Radio, and at sustainability festivals, community gatherings and coffeehouses around the region. ..
