REGGAE MOTION was formed in 2003 in Los Angeles, California. Determined to promote positivity and consciousness through music, the band’s founder Fabio Assis merged a unique combination of Reggae sounds with English and Portuguese lyrics that speak about peace, love, harmony and blessings. REGGAE MOTION’S infusion of that old familiar roots reggae flavor with a fresh modern twist finds its inspiration from the cultural and musical diversity of the band’s members. Musically influenced by musicians such Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Jacob Miller, Israel Vibration, The Abyssinians, Toots and the Maytals, and the Inner Circle, REGGAE MOTION has successfully created its own distinct style that makes each performance a unifying and energetic experience.
We have recently opened for Israel Vibrations at the Roxy on Sunset, Pato Banton at the Libertine on Sunset, showcased at the House of Blues on December 30, 2010. We also opened for Midnite on January 20, 2011 at the Key Club in Hollywood, and Michael Rose on January 27, 2011 in Hermosa Beach, Ziggy Marley in Brazil, and recently Reggae Motion was the opening band for Max Priest in the Sun Splash Festival Qatar.
REGGAE MOTION has a strong fan base, but is always eager to introduce its music to a new crowd. We believe that playing at the Spring Fest 2012 would give your attendees an opportunity to hear a really great band, and us an opportunity to introduce ourselves to a new audience.
Raggae Motion has great audience connection, and they can make any event a real party.
