The Band consists of:
Richard Thiel (Guitar, Bass, Composer of 'Giant Steps'): Rich is a 30 year veteran of the NYC music circuit, performing on both guitar and bass.
Richie Cannata - Sax - BIlly Joel, Beach Boys, Owner of Cove City Sound Studios.
Danny Kean - Keyboards / Vocals
Blind since birth, Danny Kean started playing piano at the tender age of two and was told by a piano tuner that he had perfect pitch. Danny was only 18 when he released his first album Blind by Design and only 19 when he went on his first European tour with Stevie Cochran which included a performance at the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival. In 2002, Danny started working with Sam “Bluzman” Taylor, a New York City blues legend, and later R&B soul icon Maxine Brown, who covered some of Danny’s songs. Danny appeared on the Steve Harvey morning show during a contest and won the chance to compete in amateur night at the Apollo. He won three nights in a row. Recently Danny has written and recorded with legendary rocker Gary U.S. Bonds on his latest album “Let them talk”. He also toured and recorded with New Orleans blues legend Bryan Lee.
Mario Staiano - Drums
Mario is a seasoned drummer, having played with Gary U.S. Bonds, Blues great Sam Taylor since the '70's and has been touring with Savoy Brown for the past several years. Lawrence Worrell (LAW) - Vocals / Rap - Being raised in a musical family (LAW is blues great Sam Taylor's grandson) Law performed with Sam's band for many years in additional to fronting his own bands.
