Like a shot of adrenaline... Adrena Lynn will capture your attention and energize your soul with her soulful/bluesy rock voice and passionate performance.
A seasoned and passionate vocalist, performer and songwriter, her versatile vocal repertoire has led her to front her own band - The Adrena Lynn Band.
Her performances are dynamic and her audience loves the passion that she exudes! With a Tina Turner-like energy, she creates a party atmosphere, winning the crowd over every time! With a wide range of music styles she can perform Pop, Rock, RnB, Classic Rock, Country, Soul, Blues and Ballads with barely any effort. The passion of her Italian heritage powers the performance.
Performing her original music, as well as covering songs with her own style, her sound has been said to be similar to Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Janis Joplin and Ann Wilson with a touch of Steven Tyler. Her first original rock project included Danny Jacob (Guitarist/Songwriter/Arranger), Greg (Drums) & Matt (Bass) Bissonnette and Mark Levang (Producer). Today, she surrounds herself with some of the very best session players and performers in Orange County and Los Angeles, who themselves have toured the world and performed for audiences of thousands.
Born and raised in Southern California, Adrena's first recordings were “Skating Machine”, written and arranged by Frank G. Busey, John E. Duarte, Hal Davis & Don Fletcher; and “Skate Fever” (Busey, Duarte & Davis). The songs were released on Malibu Rose Records during the height of the Roller Skating phenomenon and received radio play. This was the beginning of her passionate love affair with singing, recording and performing.
At an early age, Adrena was performing on the Mickey Mouse Show, belting out Al Jolson songs and astonishing her audience! She even performed on the Gong Show, receiving the highest overall score for her performance by judges Clifton Davis, Jaye P. Morgan & Milt Kamen. She would go on to sing demos for Sonny Bono; perform at the USO in Hollywood and at the Improv with Jay Leno hosting. Adrena had the great fortune of studying with vocal coach, Cantor Nathan Lam who taught her his methodologies that she embraces to this day.
This foundation led her to be quite at ease in the recording studio, having provided vocals for demos, lending backup vocals, and guide vocals (including guide vocals for Sera Masanori - former lead singer of the Japanese rock band “Twist”) ; and recording her own music. As one would expect – Adrena Lynn is writing and recording her debut CD, which will feature her original pop/rock/soul songs. The anticipated release is planned for the fall of 2012!
