A sound that has come to be adored by fans and press alike.
All members having a long history of different bands and recordings most significant are perhaps Roine Stolt's contributions in "Transatlantic" alongside Dream Theaters Mike Portnoy and Marillions Pete Trewavas, a progrock "sideproject"and a success story beyond par.
Over the years The Flower Kings have experimented with various approaches to their writing, arrangements and instrumentation and on the coming new album "Banks of Eden" the band
experiment but also
pay tribute both to their own past and to the glory of the 70's proressive giants. The result: This is The Flower Kings at their best - melodic and timeless progressive rock played by masters of their instruments.
