Soul Core / Bio

Kudreiko, Cottos and Strachan were all members of one of Detroits favorite local bands Robb Roy. Robb Roy was nominated 6 straight years in a row for best Alt Rock band at the Detroit Music Awards winning twice in 1998 and 2000. Kudreiko and Strachan were nominated in the musician and vocalist catagories multiple times. The band released 4 records, "Uh Oh! Here Comes Bob" (1997), "Heroes and Cocktails"(1999), "Happy"(2000) and "Days of Pride and Hunger"(2003). Robb Roy performed all over the USA and Canada as well as Great Britain and France. In Detroit the band has performed at such venues as The Palace of Auburn Hills, Pine Knob(DTE Center), Freedom Hill, Hart Plaza, The State Theater (Detroit) and The Magic Bag to name a few. They performed at The Phoenix Center on the National Stage for Arts Beats and Eats 3 years in a row with the likes of Good Charlotte, G Love, Blues Traveler and many more.

Soul Core is currently writing and recording. With nearly a dozen songs written since they began in January 2012, the band cant wait to test the waters with their new songs. Their early shows were a mixture of new songs and classic Robb Roy material. The band is very tight, powerful and professional. Look out for Soul Core's first record in late 2012.
