Amy Ratliff is a transplant from Columbus, OH. Since arriving here in San Antonio over 11 years ago, Amy has payed her dues in various Classic Rock & Blues outfits throughout the Alamo City lending her crystal clear vocals to tunes by the Allman Brothers, Led Zeppelin and Janis Joplin. Amy was crowned the Alamo City Idol in 2009 for her rendition of Me & Bobby McGee.
Relatively recently, Amy has discovered Jazz and the masterful vocal stylings of Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Maxine Sullivan and Nancy Wilson just to name a few. Since this discovery, Amy has not looked back as she tirelessly carves a name in the solid foundation which is the San Antonio jazz scene, playing with some of the Alamo City's finest musicians, including Kyle Keener and Polly Harrison of Small World Jazz, alto sax ace Richard Oppenheim and up and
coming bassist James Olezene.
