JP GEORGE & The Scary Space Cadets – an original story, finally.

JP GEORGE told a band to play... well, something like that!
Singer/songwriter/artist JP GEORGE invaded producer DOC MARTIN's Astronaut Studio in downtown Gothenburg, Sweden in the fall of 2009. It was musical love at first track, and after a few days the duo found themselves writing and recording with a frenzy. “We wanted to rediscover the joy of music, far from all the rules and old patterns of producing music.”

JP and Doc, at times close to a collective nervous breakdown, were fighting, laughing, dancing, using sequencers and some heavy guitar riffs to capture years of frustration and anxiety, happy to have reinvented themselves as creative human beings. The first album “HelloGoodbye” is a kick in the gut and it's perfect music for the highway!

The second album was made in the fall of 2011. “The Money” deals with the ridiculous system of stock markets, corporations, Hollywood wars, it's a manifest against greed, ignorance, superabundance and stupidity.
The formula for the songs was simple: a strong catchy chorus, a wild verse, feisty lyrics. They used sounds and beats from heavy metal, dance, rock n' roll, electronica and on top of it all the ocarina, the magical instrument of Nintendo's game Zelda!

The Scary Space Cadets is a mysterious bunch of top notch musicians, but nobody is quite sure who's in the band. JP and Doc want to keep it that way: “We love the way rumours are spreading about the disguised members, and they look great on stage!”

In a time when the music industry is confused, riddled with X-factors, teeny idols and shallowness, this project is a humorous, furious fist in the air, a rebel yell of authenticity and love!
The adventure JP GEORGE & The Scary Space Cadets is ready to dominate charts, festivals and venues worldwide!
