The Dirty Things formed as Alpha Vigilant at the beginning of 2012 as a duo between two south Alabama brothers, Bassist/Lead Vocalist Jim Wes and drummer Dane Wes. They released a demo of their first song “Women Cocaine and Booze” to iTunes as quickly as they could, and then they watched it climb the Blues Top 100 all the way to number 45. Yet, a puzzle piece was missing. At the end of 2012, they discovered Jeremy “JB” Bryant, a Texas-born guitar virtuoso with a Ph.D. in melting face. The Dirty Things immediately started crafting their debut album Poor. For months, they recorded out of their Nashville home, and finally on June 11, 2013 Poor released to iTunes. The album went all the way to 15 in the Blues Top 100 charts. This is real Rock n’ Roll, soaked in sweat and polished with mud. No tricks, no gimmicks, just raw Rock n’ Roll.
