We've been creating music together for over 10 years, we believe that music and art are forms of communication that speech cannot convey. We met early in our teenage years through mutual friends when we developed a strong relationship bonded through music & painting. Emily composed entire sets of songs and played keyboard while singing, and I brought in a new take on guitar with a distinct haunting sound that is echoing and atmospheric. I played solo shows pursuing a music career in New York City while Emily went to college in Kansas City majoring in Art. We then progressed our relationship beyond the lines of just friendship which led me to move to Kansas City. We recorded our first full length album "The Valley Effect" with accompanying music videos to each track in 2012 and we felt it was a very visual album so we teamed up with The Electric Sheep to help elucidate our vision of each track which form one seamless composition. Electric Sheep is a collaborative abstract artwork founded by Scott Draves. It's run by thousands of people all over the world, and can be installed on any ordinary PC, Mac, Android, or iPad. When these computers "sleep", the Electric Sheep comes on and the computers communicate with each other by the internet to share the work of creating morphing abstract animations known as "sheep". After completing our foundation release we followed up with our first EP titled "93" which is 7 songs dedicated to exploring the nature of divinity through love, truth, and pure force of the human will. Each track was mixed and mastered by us together before going to the Virgin Islands to get married in 2013. We now have a newborn baby girl and are building tracks for a future release while creating art everyday. We're currently researching licensing opportunities for movies and pursuing national radio play while working daily to build and communicate with our growing fan base.
