With 2 older brothers knee deep in the music game, An-G was destined to follow in their footsteps. "I've been spittin and writing rhymes since the age thirteen", said the talented femcee. Born and raised in Denver, now residing in New York, Angie grew up listening to Hip Hop artists like Common, Tupac, Mobb Deep, Foxy Brown, Jay-Z and has been compared to Lauryn Hill, Shawnna, and Foxy Brown. During her high school years, she realized her potential when a crowd of her peers would gather around the lunch table to watch her battle. It wasn't until 2002 when she decided to take her music to the next level allowing her to put out the mixtape "In one take" and link up with another female rapper to form the group D&A. D&A peformed at different events, and clubs around Colorado, and recorded a few songs before breaking up in 2005. AN-G still continues to write and collab with other artist, and is working on another mixtape.
