..Dale Poune has been a musician and songwriter his entire life, one of the lucky ones. Dale plays guitar, bass, mandolin, dobro and sings. He has played Rock, Blues, R&B, Country, smooth jazz and Bluegrass. He has performed with the Lacy J Dalton, The Fortunes, Buddy Miles, The Coasters, and The Drifters.
Dale is currently touring with Lacy J Dalton (Black Coffee, 16th Avenue) .Dale worked with Jon Washington's Fortunes for 12 years before joining Lacy J Dalton's band..(Here comes that Rainy day feeling Again, You've got your Troubles I've got mine) When not traveling the road he also performs in local clubs as a single.
Songs on this profile are from Dale's first solo album "Loose Ends and a second Cd titled "Guitar Pizza" both on the Pepo Record label. They can be purchased on iTunes and CD Baby. He also recorded the acoustic guitar parts on Lacy J Dalton's new CD "This Close." and Her new single "Next to Me".
Dale contributed bass and guitar tracks to four of the Comstock Cowboy CDs. "Gather round Cowboys", "Break it to the Cowboy" , "I was never Alone" featuring 2 duets with David John(Cowboys lead singer) and Lacy J Dalton and The latest "Songslinger" You can hear guitar and mandolin work on a CD of Newgrass songs with the band The Cripple Creek Boys titled "Sittin in Tall Cotton".
Dale's latest work can be found on the Krista Jenkins CD titled "The All Hat No Cattle" . Dale is played guitar and Dobro this release. Krista is an up and coming western singer from Nevada. This is her debut release.
