It all went down in Oct. of 2010 When Tom Pappas ( Superdrag ) moved into Scott Ballew's (the Shazam) house. The Place had a fully equipped rehearsal space. Tom was going through a divorce and Scott wanted a band called Rock City Birdhouse. After multiple jam sessions songs started to take hold, but some Low end and background vocals we're needed. Enter Mick Wilson (the Shazam) in Dec. 2010 to fill in the gaps, and RCB was complete.
After several shows and more tool shedding of songs the band decided it was time to record. Breakage was recorded and Mixed in two weekends in Oct. and Dec. 2011 at the REEL East Nashville by Cameron and Sarah Henry. Mastered in
Jan. 2012 by John Netti.
The Music is an amalgum of classic and punk rock traditionalisim encased in a tempest of garage rock abandon.
The live show looks like the music sounds, accept you might see the singer / guitar player lift the speaker cabnite over his head and attack his guitar.
If you like music that goes back to the initial beginings of rock n roll (1950s) you will like this band.
