A native from Paris, France Jenny Rieu is a performer, actress and vintage enthusiast. I started out as an Opera singer at age 13 and made my TV Debut in 2001 on the French Cable Network's,"FunTV" hosting my own show,"The CastingLive." After that I did a lot of extra work on bi productions, as well as smaller ones. I played a couple of leads in Student films and I also worked in production when I interned on The Doctors TV Show at Paramount Studios or worked as a Production Assistant for the International Documentary Association during their Screening Series.
In 2008, I moved to New York to pursue theater studies and graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts of New York in 2010. A month later, I moved to L.A and was cast in my first play: “The Seven Deadly Sins.” I created and starred in my own Cabaret show, "THE LADY IN RED". The show was a tribute to old Hollywood songs, as well as Jazz Oldies, French Chanson and Rock 'n' Roll tunes, ranging from the 1920s up to the 1960s.
It is through my Cabaret Show that my passion for vintage clothing really came to life and helped me build my brand. From there I did my first pinup photoshoot at Glamorama Studio, back in 2011. 3 years later I became the cover model for the Prequel of, "Pinup Alternative Magazine " www.pinupalternativemagazine.com that was launched at the Raw Artist LA show, on October, 2014 . And I am also the last Cover girl of the year for Black Pinups Magazine Issue 6, 2014. http://www.blackpinups.net/
I am currently part of the Couture for Every Body Campaign launched by Pinupgirlclothing.com and I modeled a lot of their designs that are currently available on their website.
In addition to acting and modeling, I am the lead singer of "Jenny and The Razors" a band I formed with my husband Jason Kamimura on June 2014. I also co-wrote the song: “ Patisserie” for the award-winning documentary “ Let Them Eat Cake.”
