The Lounge Act was founded in the winter of 2011 by Simon Guzman and Jordan Wuest, when they recruited their high school friends; Roger Walsh and Nick Ciccintelli. They immediately recorded a demo and started playing shows at venues in and around New York City. Since then, they have played at many prominent venues including The Knitting Factory, The Studio at Webster Hall, Arlene's Grocery,
as well as many other key spots within the local NYC music scene.
The Lounge Act's music has been described as energetic and exciting, with the core of their sound being rooted in Rock and Roll. Dueling guitars and sentimental vocals bring to life the raw emotion of this four-piece ensemble.
