Bass Kid (Bassplayer1g76) / Bio

The first time I recognized the sound of a bass guitar, I was four years old, and the sound of the thing enticed me. I loved the strong, driving feel of the bass. When I was eight years old, I received my first bass guitar, a Fender Squier Electric P-Bass, as a gift. I quickly started teaching myself how to play, and after hearing the Red Hot Chili Peppers for the first time, I became enthralled with funk music.
I taught myself how to pop and slap, started learning songs from tabs and by ear by RHCP, and soon branched out into learning songs by other artists and began writing my own music.
I am now 18 and have been playing bass every day of my life for the past ten years. I love to play and write, and hopefully you'll like what you hear.
