Growing up in the Roxbury Neighborhood of Boston wasn't always safe and easy place for Dale. Between avoiding gangs and the pressure to join the lifestyle, he had music to take him away. Music was deeply rooted in his veins going back to generations on both sides of his family. Dale's family on both sides were from New Orleans, Louisiana. His grandfather was a piano player in a jazz band before joining the Navy. As a young boy Dale performed in talent shows in elementary school all the way through High School where he realized that what he had was more than just a hobby, but instead it was a gift. He was born with the natural ability to create melodies from music on the spot, sing any note that was played on an instrument and write a song to any track he was given. Like most singers Dale was apart of numerous R&B groups that usually end as quick as they began until he realized that being a solo singer was a best fit for him. His music style and voice has been compared to the likes of Omarion, Ginuwine and Joe. To this day, Dale continues to record, write and perform music, waiting for that chance to show the world that R&B music will never die.
