Originally from a remote town in Montana, not only has this now NYC based musician been winning awards and audiences over with her debut album One Way Home, but she also starred in the award winning Magnolia Pictures release, Murder Party. Her cinematic and theatrical background shines throughout her music, layering each story with it’s own soundtrack. She has been compared to a baffling variety of artists including Tom Waits, Feist, Jeff Buckley, Regina Spektor, Aimee Mann, Stevie Nicks and even Bob Dylan. Despite the comparisons, Stacy has a truly unique voice as a singer and as a writer, both original and reminiscent of the vinyl era. Gabriel Levitt of Brooklyn’s Jezebel Music wrote that her live performances are “unequivocally enchanting”.
