"Sometimes it's the smallest details in a piece of music that grab hold of me. The Dusting, a fantastic debut CD from the Nashville-based band Dewey Decibel, is an immediately catchy album, with jangly guitars, upbeat melodies and rhythms that skip around playfully". NPR Music

When describing Alex's music, I start off by saying he is, in my opinion, one of the best singers in Cincinnati. Baker is just off a full tour traveling all around the U.S. Playing mostly solo acoustic shows sometimes with backing artist's.
He has played or accompanied many different artist in Nashville, Santa Cruz, and Cincinnati including his highly acclaimed band Dewey Decibel. His winding croons fall seamlessly from a baritone into a falsetto and back. But that's only half the story, his range of clever melodic songs from a slow and paced rhythm to upbeat jangly pop ballads and well thought out lyrical content command attention, and keep the audience intrigued and clamoring for more.
