For Worship Minister Peter Ndumbi, a native of Kenya who is currently residing in the US, knows that it is God's time for him to sound a song for the nations that will cause people to start thinking about God and his attributes, which will then result to a life of purpose and significance.
Peter has always had a passion for music. His dad, Pastor Michael Thuku set up an environment for him where he became rooted in the things of God, and developed his own personal faith with God. He started ministering as a Music Director in Kenya for Rongai Assemblies of God in 1998 and has maintained this calling all through out the years in various ministries including the Kenyan Christian Fellowship Association (KCFA)
"THINKING ABOUT HIM" is a Praise and Worship experience for such a time that invites listeners of all walks of life to start relying more on God's grace by simply thinking about him and allowing his attributes to appropriate in their lives. "Thinking About Him", his first album gives a feel and vibe of some Traditional African Music with some Soulful modern themes that will bless your Spirit.
There is a mix and fusion of different musical influences, take "Thengyo Jesu (Thank You Jesus)", it has been recorded with a South African Lingala feel.
"I pray that God will be glorified in this project," Peter says " and on the same token, people will experience God's presence in such a special way that they will be thinking about him to the point that they get SATISFIED with his blessings as the give God back the glory"
