Ex cert from Pablo's 1st CD Crying from the World:
Not too long ago I sat down and had a talk with Pablo. A born Jamaican who came from the Parish of St. Mary. He told me he had lived in the country with his grandmother and by going to church got his start in singing.
Growing up in Jamaica he listened to artists such as Al Green, Percy Sledge, Sam Cooke, Delroy Wilson, Bob Marley and Dennis Brown. just to name a few. 1976 marked his Cleveland area Reggae debut with Black Lion, one of the areas first and best Reggae bands. After Black lion came Roots International and then Roots Vibes. Around 1985 Pablo began his recording career with the New Chapter Reggae Band.
He has worked with Reggae artists such as Carl Malcolm, Capleton, and Luciano. He has toured the Norhteast college and club circuits. Particularly around the Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, and Chicago areas. He has performed in just about every Reggae venue in this part of the country.
This year marks the release of Pablo's new CD "World Crisis" which should be out by mid-summer 2012.
Though out his music Pablo offers a moving glimpse of the world through his eyes.
