Originally from Massachusetts, Don Wall started drumming immediately after hearing The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show. He has played in rock/blues/country bands ever since. He's lived in Texas for about 30 years. Most recently he's been drumming live & in studio with the jerryRiggers (with Jerry Green, Spider Minshew, Dave Metcalf), the Calamity Janes (Arwyn Benson, Alyssa Childs, Courtney Mock, Tanner Laine, Curtis Campbell, Ron Kinard), and the Pronk Project (John Pronk, George Dykes & Friends). Don also plays acoustic guitar and write songs. "Hold Me Close" with Spider Minshew on harmonica was ranked #1 on CD Baby's Country/Folk list for several weeks in 2012. Don also formed the Moon Brothers with David Smith on mandolin and Jack Lavender on dobro. They recorded Don's "Pump Jacks Baseball" with special guests Spider Minshew (harmonica), and Dave Metcalf (bass). The East Texas Pumpjacks baseball team played the song throughout the 2012 season of the Texas Collegiate League. You can catch Don's solo act Saturday mornings at the Brass Bean coffee shop in Grand Prairie, TX.
