With a rare aptitude for combining aspects of classic rock, hair-metal, and grunge, independent recording artists MODENA offer a professional and edgy sound for fans of hard rock music. The band has spent over 6 years perfecting their craft by creating a buzz both domestically and abroad via the internet, playing countless live shows, and tirelessly networking with other bands.

Their music just screams with emotion. Big vocal harmonies will get stuck in your head for days. And a constant barrage of sleek bass lines, heavy riffs, and thunderous drums will make your heart groove like no other. They've been featured on regional FM radio as well as various internet radio stations such as Pandora.

Following the success of two previous releases, the 'Second Time Around EP', and its predecessor, the 'Modena EP', the band decided to launch a Kickstarter campaign with one goal in mind: to record with multi-platinum selling producer Jim Wirt (INCUBUS, Hoobastank, Fiona Apple, Live). They were able to exceed their goal by several hundred dollars, donated by loyal fans we like to call 'Modenians.'

The boys spent two weeks secluded with Jim's musical genius in Cleveland, Ohio. And it didn't take long for them to realize his passion for finding the right sound was contagious. The end result was a record they are proud to call their first full-length debut, LEVERAGE: released on September 17, 2013 to rave reviews by fans and critics alike.

Now they are ready to hit the road. Ready to hit the social networks. Ready to show the world that their outstanding drive, persistence, and loyal fan base can make a difference in today's music industry.

The Raleigh quartet is truly a force to be reckoned with, standing poised at the forefront of a new generation of musicians and fans free from the chains of greedy major labels. They are part of a community of talent that remembers a simpler time for music. A time when rock and roll stood high atop the artistic tier.

With their new album of 11 original songs, MODENA plans to turn the tide and bring rock back into the mainstream. The only question is...are you ready?
