Leanne Felzien was raised in Boise, ID. She became involved in music at a young age starting with piano at the age of 6. When she hit fourth grade she started playing violin, but the instrument just didn't seem like a good fit. After a couple of years, Leanne had the opportunity to change her instrument to the cello and took it. There was no looking back and she played for another 8 years before life took over taking her away from her passion for music.
She attended the University of Idaho and earned a Chemical Engineering degree and went to work at Dow Chemical in California. After 3 years there, she ended up in Idaho working for Micron Technology as a process engineer and self-taught programmer. She and her husband started a family in Boise. They had 5 children (1 son and 4 daughters) over the course of 10 years. During that time, Leanne ended up coming home to be with her children. She homeschools her kids (she's graduated 2, so far from her homeschool). In her spare time, she developed an online company (www.stopyeast.com) that sells products that help people fight chronic digestive problems.
Through all of this, however, she was missing her music. Leanne started a new instrument, classical guitar, but still felt not quite right about what she was playing. Finally, she picked up her cello and started playing again and remembered how much she LOVED this instrument. Now, she is pursuing a life long dream of recording beautiful music and is feeling very blessed to be able to share her love and passion for incredible music!
