Formed in 2011 on the outskirts of Austin Texas, Pernicious Phenom while staying true to thier Death Metal roots range between all metal and all things heavy.

It all started at the age of 17, founding members Ian Maxwell and Bassist Angelo Giusto took place in writing "Blinded By Murder" the bands first song ever composed, appearing on thier 7 track EP "Revenge of the Yeti".
Then along came Lead Vocalist Jeff Giusto Angelo's older brother, delivering fitting style for the bands dark lyrics. Lead Guitarist Ian Maxwell after being kicked out of high school for having long hair and love for metal found Rythem Guitarist Drew Castillo within the first couple days of a new high school.
Last but certainley not least Drummer and ex roadie Zach Senior joined, bringing the band to its full sound and potential.
Pernicious Phenom has a dream and dependancy to inspire the many fans and young musicians to come, just as previous metal bands has done for them. To get people through everyday life and struggles, just as previous metal bands has done for them. To play and continue the legacy of Death Metal and keeping this unique fanbase alive, Thus achieving true freedom. Keep it Fucking Metal!
