Corium is the band I last played in. Make sure you check them out! This is my own page to promote any music I am a part of! I will have all kinds of things here from Corium and myself! So treat yourself to a little inspiration.
My story goes. I was born on the muddy banks of the ohio in a little town called E-ville in the winter of 1981. I stayed there till I moved to nashville with my mother in 1988. Thats where music took a hold of me.
I was 9 when I lied to my teacher to get into the school band. He quickly discovered I had never touched an instrument before and handed me a recorder. Showed me a quick tune on it. Then I was told there was no more room in the school band.
For the next 2 years music had become more and more important to me so for my 10th christmas, I got my first guitar from my dad. shortly after that, my mom found a drum set at a church yard sale. I couldnt make the guitar make ANY decent noise so i mostly played the drums.
When I was almost 12 we moved to Arizona. Once enrolled in school I again lied to the band teacher to let me take the class. They let me in. Soon to discover I had never played before. The teacher was undestanding and gave me extra lessons after school.
For 2 years I played the clarinet and when I was 14 had finally made the guitar make some decent notes. I continued to play in the school band all throughout high school. However once I hit high school I became a ROCKER!.
I always had a guitar in my hand and tried to form numerous bands that generally never played a show. So I was also actively involved in a church youth band. We took a trip to Phoenix First Assembly and I got to play my first show in fornt of 2,000 people.
I was hooked. even though we were in church it was a rock show! And ppl loved it. I then decided to give writing music a try. Found out it is alot harder than most people think to write a song.
I graduated high school and started playing with a band called Under The Influence back in E-Ville. My home town you know who you are! The siding was completely ripped off of my house and all our equipment was stolen. Right about $15,000 walked out of that basement.
So I moved back to Arizona and a couple of years later helped form a band called ETHOS. My song writing skills had vastly improved by this time and we were playing shows for about a year.
Finally brings me to my present day band CORIUM. Which was spawned from ETHOS. Corium is Bruce Jensen -Lead Vocals, Brandon Teskey - Lead Guitar, ReDeYeS - Rhythm Guitar and Backup Vocals, Brandon Gray - bass, Mike Gabbert - drums.
We have been a band for almost 2 years now and our fan base is growing. Im the Rhythm player in the band or the "wild" one as they refer to me. Mainly because I am the wild performer on a stage! Listen to my songs. I want honest input!
