== PRESS RELEASE - For Immediate Release ==
= Sterling is not a newcomer by any means. He has been around and paid his dues having worked with the top artists in the rock world with Warner Brothers.
= The artist formally known as Denis Lee Bryant first gained national attention with his first group U.S. Apple Corps, one of the pioneers of Christian Rock. His groundbreaking effort propelled the band to an unprecedented first album success that topped the Gavin list charts for a solid 6 months. It was then that Billboard, Cashbox and Record World Magazines all featured the band’s sensational success, with Billboard describing Sterling’s voice as “The Voice That Can Do It All – no hype, just FACT.” =
= Having matured he redefined himself as, Bryant Sterling and he went on to work with some of the biggest names in the industry, including John Madara, Quincy Jones, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, Three Dog Night (Chuck Negron), Tommy Shaw (STYX), Led Zeppelin, Frank Zappa, Van Halen, Alice Cooper, Hall & Oates, Jeff Porcaro (TOTO), Pat Mastelotto (Mr. Mister), Kim Bullard (Crosby Stills & Nash), Doc Severinsen and his NBC Tonight Show Band, Tom Scott (SAX for SNL Band & The Blues Brothers), The Allman Brothers, Blood Sweat and Tears, Janis Joplin, Lorenzo Lamas, and many more. =
= Bryant's Short AutoBiography:
= " Since leaving the orphanage I continuously write, sing and produce all of my own songs since age 12 (then as 'Denis Lee Bryant'). But I literally did not sing my 1st NOTE until age 13 while performing at a gig! (and by chance when filling in for our absent lead singer). Until then I played my acoustic and electric guitars, of which I am self-taught. =
= * At age 15, I started my first professional band which I called U.S. APPLE CORPS (Band & Album Title, as sole Founder and creator of my ground breaking Christian Rock Music) in my former name of 'Denis Lee Bryant'. I wrote, sang and created all 6 songs, including our Album Cover. We toured the United States extensively in the late '60's and early '70's and became extremely popular. Never before had any musician or band combined Gospel songs and Christian Hymns with Rock Music. =
= * Soon after I was 'discovered' by Warner Bros. while recording at the famous SUN STUDIO in Memphis, Tennessee. From then on, I pursued my career as a Major Music Artist and Producer for other select Artists as well. It is at around this time that I legally changed my name to BRYANT STERLING, a common practice by Major Artists. =
= * When someone asks me, "who do you think you sound like?", there is really no comparing my voice and music. My 'Old School' Soulful Rock, Southern Rock, Soft Rock, Classic Rock, Pop Rock, Inspirational/Christian Rock and Blues styles are MY OWN SOUND - THE SOUND OF STERLING. It's my BROAD BASE OF AMERICANA (Old School) Rock.
