Shawn Deville is a rap artist born in New York, raised near Youngstown, and currently living in Toledo, Ohio. Deville searches for and purchases the rights to all the beats he uses, writes all of his own lyrics, self-produces all of his own recordings, does all of his own editing, mixing, and mastering at his studio, Mafioso Studios, and does all picture, art, and video production and editing himself. He began his music career as a member of the rap group, Cadillac Brothaz, in 2010. The group met and formed a relationship with Johnny Z of Rated Z Recordz in Las Vegas, Nevada and soon agreed to start doing albums together. They recorded their demo album, Gettin' Nasty, in May of 2011 and it was released in late fall that year. Upon its’ completion, he began working on the group’s second album, MidWest Coast, but before it could be completed, the group fell apart. In the meantime, he also decided to begin his solo career and in February 2012, recorded 21 tracks for his debut solo album, Troublemaker. In June 2012, after 3 weeks of training, he began to mix and master his own album and the tracks were completed in August 2012. The Troublemaker album is now released and available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Reverbnation, Facebook, and on his own website shawndeville.com. He has performed at shows all over the state of Ohio and in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Indiana, and North Carolina. As soon as his debut album dropped, he started working on a 41 track double album project called "Rollin So Clean (Ridin So Dirty)." After 14 months of work, he released both albums exclusively on his website www.shawndeville.com and on reverb on 9/10/2013. Both albums will be available on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Spotify, and over 30 other sites on 11/5/2013. The exclusive early release is just his way of giving his fans early access to great music from a great artist. "Rollin So Clean" is a more modern and commercial album full of clubby party tracks, RNB, life stories, and contains the fan favorite Nightmares & Street Dreams. "Ridin So Dirty" however, is a more old school hardcore rap album containing diss tracks, bangers, hood anthems, and features the club hit Worried Bout Nothin featuring Mac Nova & the amazing 3 minute free verse Taking Flight. With 3 full length albums released in 14 months, a large growing fan base, the ability to run his entire career independently at a professional level, and the talent & motivation to rise to the top, the future continues to brighten for this artist and his fans can prepare themselves for an exciting ride.
