Singer songwriter Derrek Wayne is an award winning barbershop quartet singer who writes pop and jazz songs.

When he is home in California, Derrek is a lead singer in The Westminster Chorus, the 2007 and 2010 International Champions of the Barbershop Harmony Society. Singing in Westminster has led Derrek to performances and commercial work in Japan and Germany, as well as aboard cruise ships. Professional singing in the styles of Barbershop and A Cappella are the foundations of Derrek’s vocal agility and versatility.

Derrek’s interests extend beyond performing - Derrek holds a bachelors degree in Philosophy with minor in Architecture from the University of Washington Seattle, he is an award winning computer programmer, and has released 3 collections of his own songs. Derrek aspires to one day write songs for Pixar Animation Studio. His latest album, Derrek Wayne Sings Jazz is available from bandcamp and iTunes.
