KELLYANN is the Lead Singer of Blue Collar Project, as well as sings Harmony, and plays Flute, Alto Saxophone, Auxiliary Percussion & Acoustic Guitar. She is a Woodwind Specialist and the Owner and Instructor of the Woodwind Institute, formerly known as The Flute Institute & Other Woodwinds, where she has taught privately Flute, Piccolo, Clarinet, Alto & Soprano Saxophones and Recorder for more than 21 years. She also been the Owner, Music Consultant, and Musician of Wedding Instrumentals since 1990. Kellyann has performed as a Reed 1 Woodwind Doubler in Musical Pit Orchestras in many CT Theaters such as The Warner Theater in Torrington, The Thomaston Opera House, The Spirit of Broadway Theater in Norwich, The Goshen Players, CRT - The CT Repertory Theater in Storrs for 9 years, The Hartford Children's Theater, The New Britain Repertory Theater, and many more. Kellyann attended New England Conservatory and Ithaca College before receiving her Music Education Degree from Central CT ST Univ. as a Cum Laude Graduate. She studied Flute, Clarinet, & Alto Saxophone in college. She studied Voice privately for two years in the styles of Opera and Pop after completing her college degree. She has worked at Northwestern Regional # 7 Middle & High Schools in Winsted, CT since Jan. 2009 as a Clarinet & Saxophone Class Teacher.
GUY is the Founder, Lead Acoustic, Electric, & Slide Guitarist, and Lead, Harmony, & Background Vocalist of Blue Collar Project. He is also the Founder and Lead Guitarist of his previous band "Blues On Fire". Guy is self-employed owning his own Plumbing, Electrical, and Heating & Air Conditioning Business. His love for music started at an early age and he has been dedicated to music for a very long time.
MIKE is the Bassist and Background Vocalist for Blue Collar Project. He's been playing bass, guitar, and keys for over 30 years. He studied music theory in college. In addition to Blue Collar Project, Mike plays with Boplicity, a jazz band who recently released their new song on the Voices for Sandy Hook CD. Go to Voices for Sandy Hook website to hear it! His main influences are Motown and Beatles, but he now loves Country! In addition to being an attorney, Mike makes custom baseball bats.
BOB began playing in drum corps in the early 1970's. He took private lessons for the drum kit around the same time. He played with various local bands until the mid 80's when he stopped playing for 15 years as he was helping to raise two children. Bob began playing with various bands again around 2005. He is heavily influenced by Jazz and loves the classic style jazz, but Blue Collar Project is slowly converting him to a Country fan, Modern Country that is! He currently plays with Mike in the same local jazz band "Boplicity", who recently released their new song on the Voices for Sandy Hook CD. Go to Voices for Sandy Hook website to hear it!
