Gail Chasin / Bio

Gail has performed music working from California to Tennessee, from New York to Alaska - from Greece to Germany. She is classy, yet earthy and has a phenomenal sense of humor - some of her songs are flat our hysterical and has a way of making concert venues feel like the living room and the living room into a concert hall. She stamps her own distinctive musical signature on everything she sings and writes. Making a butter-smooth transition from power vocalist to the sultriest of torch singers and lyrically coasting from introspective to downright gritty, this animated dichotomy of a performer's voice will have your ears and heart standing at attention!

Various Past Employers : Crystal Gayle (translations into French for her demo work), Felix Cavaliere (The Rascals) (toured with Bob Babbitt on bass (Standing in the Shadows of Motown), Carl Perkins and Eddie Rabbitt only to name a few. Gail did studio vocal demo work and opened shows and sung backup for name acts on the road for 11 years while in Nashville from 1978 through 1989.

Vocal influences:
Sara Vaughn, Etta James, Phoebe Snow, Linda Rondstadt, Joni Mitchell and Patsy Cline and Van Morrison, Billie Holliday and many others.
RECORDING CONTRACTS

Nashville: American Eagle Records (1988-89) – distributed through Warner Bros. Went out of business.
