J’Mesia (Jamesia Bless-I Robinson) was born February 17, 1983 is a singer, dancer and songwriter. Ms Robinson was born in Brooklyn, New York. She later relocated to Hopewell Jamaica where she was raised by her grandparents. Jamesia’s family discovered that she had a profound love for music at an early age. As a result they began to nourish her talent by encouraging her to perform. She began entertaining her family and friends at various family events. In time she joined the youth ministry at the Hopewell Baptist Church, where she played an active part in the youth choir. Jamesia’s love for music began to evolve while attending Mount Alvernia High School as a result of music class; she was chosen to perform in numerous dance and music competitions. After high school she moved back to New York and later moved to Florida. While in the South Jamesia began putting pen to paper as a result of experiencing several misfortunes and tragic heartbreaks. In time she wrote and recorded her first single “My heart” later “I PRAY” and her dancehall debut “STOP PREE MI”. Jamesia is still diligently trying to be discovered in the music industry. Ms Robinson continues to write and sing with the support of her family and friends, in hopes that one day she will be discovered and recognized for her love of music. With encouraging words from her Aunt Shirl forever in her heart, giving her strength to make her dream a reality, Jamesia continues to pursue her dream of becoming a famous entertainer.
