The Ghosts began as the brain child of leader singer and lyricist Dan Murphy back in 1986. The "band" started as three guitarists and a drum machine and was basically a studio act. The Ghosts evolved into a full-fledged rock band at the turn of the century with the addition of real drums and some occasional bass players. The band started playing live in 2012 when- Michael Lakis joined the band and provide a consistent presence on bass. With the original members Robert Maley lead guitars, Daniel Murphy, lead vocals and guitar, and James Sell, drums intact, the band now mixes classic rock tunes and original songs into their live performances. The band still churns out new songs in the studio and has plans to professional record what they deem to be their "best stuff" in the future. Stay tuned!
