Matt Sheen & The New Hat Static / Bio

Matt Sheen & The New Hat Static is an Indianapolis-based band with a collective sound that incorporates styles from rockabilly, folk-rock, indie-rock, and alternative and is definitely something that is worth giving a listen. Matt Sheen is the brains behind the band. The mysterious man born from mechanical parts and magic, has a head like an old dial TV and and always clad in business attire. The performers of Matt Sheen's work are Maxwell Holden, Jerryme Shoup, Jess Felmy, and Gregory Bacon.

In early 2012, MSNHS released their first EP entitled 'Lost Causes'. While only being together for less than a year, they have so much ambition and passion for what they do. Occasionally you might spot them on the streets of downtown Indianapolis playing an acoustic set with Matt Sheen available for pictures and dancing like a goon. Be on the look out in the future for events as there will be many to come!
