Hailing from Killeen, TX, Blu Mantic has entered the NYC scene with a few things on his mind. And that’s being the future death or life of the Hip-Hop industry. Cocky right? I know, but Matiwane Mathews II (aka Blu Mantic) actually has humble beginnings living with his single mother of four. Watching his strong-willed mother raise him & his younger siblings alone & also being the oldest of the four created the leadership within that he would need growing up in the rough streets of Killeen, Texas & later on to take front stage. A background of church performances inspired by his poetry, drum playing to keep the funk & buzz in the church & play acting always allowed the once humbled Mr. Mathews II to be in leading roles & in the spotlight. Bringing all of his young & fresh talents to NYC as an aspiring actor & MC artist led him to team up with music marketer George Malave (http://LinkedIn.com/in/GeorgeMalave), photographer extraordinaire Kymbrely Francis (http://SimplyComplek.Wordpress.com/about/) & also to work with the likes of Matt Mantro (http://Facebook.com/MantroMusic; http://Twitter.com/MattMantro), Jennifer (producer) & auditioning with JDS Records for added experience.
Bunch him up as a poet, rapper, actor, artist, dancer, writer, he even sings a little (whatever suits you) & either way you get a whole lot of talent & spunk in this young hunk. Warning for all you would-be fans – despite his humble beginnings Blu Mantic can be kinda of cocky at times, very witty & rumor has it that he’s a handsome fella. Hey, that’s what the pretty ladies have been saying around town. His lyrical prose & engaging music will prove it & entertain you at the same time. He told me tell you all to join him in his long journey of growth, engagement & blissful entertainment (http://Facebook.com/BluManticMusic; http://Twitter.com/BluMantic).
