Chris Hodges is an innovative performing artist and session singer who defies the expectations. A rock musician that challenges the conventional, both lyrically and instrumentally, he has removed limits to creativity.
As a teen highly influenced by metal and hard rock, Hodges became a self taught musician that aimed to astound. With diverse inspirations, Hodges has ventured along many musical paths. Performing and writing lead vocals for the metal group Intrust gave audiences a deeper look into an honest and fierce entertainer. He and Intrust sold out many venues including the Curtain Club in Dallas, and quenched a thirst for complex and inventive metal.
While Chris Hodges expanded as a singer, he began to travel to Los Angeles for many unique projects and collaborations. After flying back and forth for six months, Hodges decided to grab the opportunity for a new life and re-defined sound. By creating a solid balance of rock, pop and blues, Hodges is generating a serious buzz among a wide audience. Having forged his soulful side, with dynamic vocals, and a deep appreciation for all types of music, Chris Hodges is designing rich melodies and bold lyrics to re-energize rock.
As a Vocalist, Hodges has been impacting music compared to Daughtry, Incubus, Foo Fighters, and Shinedown. He is embarking on the next journey in his career. He has made many memorable appearances at historical venues such as The House of Blues, The Viper Room, El Rey, Hard Rock Café, as well as impressive write-ups in LA Weekly, and two musical performances on Good Morning Texas. He is now also giving the gift of music to the Armed Forces on a regular basis via meet and greets and acoustic concerts on base. Regular tours include BALBOA NAVAL HOSPITAL and Wounded Warriors Center at the MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON
Hodges will continue to impress, and influence audiences and fans. He lives up to and exceeds all expectations of the word rock…. Which is to move.
